ARAMARK would like to offer a big congratulations - and thank you - to Carmen Mendez and Marcus Hepler, winners of the 2008 THRIVE Recognition Program drawing. Marcus is a General Utility Worker at Furman University, where he was recognized for helping the Homestyle station in a time of need. Barry and the Lounge Ladies: the Best Part of Everyone's Day

Many students often go to the lounge in order to procure such necessities as are warranted by life at the university: coffee, for example. But this habit, which is a daily one for many, could easily grow lifeless and perfunctory (as, surely, it often does in lesser places) if not for the cheerful assistance of the man and women who work there: Barry Larson, Angela Callahan and Yvette Rincon.
